2019 AGJA (ASEAN Gems & Jewelery Association) Summit Held in Turkey

The AGJA (ASEAN Gems & Jewelery Association) Summit, which was held during the China International Import Expo last year, comes to Istanbul, Turkey this year. Representatives from 37 countries and regions attend the 2019 summit. A warm gathering of old friends, and a feast of international cooperation.
As the world's tenth largest economy, Turkey's annual export value exceeds 200 billion US dollars. It has developed into the top five trading markets in the world, and the top three jewelry processing and jewelry exporting country.
Turkey is an important country along the Belt and Road. Its capital, Istanbul, is the capital of ancient Rome and the terminal of the Silk Road. Turkey has a long history of communication with China and the two countries cooperate closely.
With the great changes in the world economy and disputes over international trade, the theme of this summit is how to promote international cooperation, reduce trade disputes and reduce tariff barriers, so as to promote the global cooperation and development of gems and jade industry and bring win-win results!
