On November 8, at the 2019 International Jewelry Summit, China Gem&Jade Exchange signed a strategic cooperation agreement with India's Gem and Jewellery Export Promotion Council (GJEPC).

India's Gem and Jewellery Export Promotion Council (GJEPC) was founded in 1966 and operated under the supervision of the Ministry of Commerce of India. It is the top institution in the gem and jewelry industry in India with more than 6000 members. In 2017-18 fiscal year, India's jewelry export reached US $41 billion, mainly driven by finished diamonds. In 2017-18 fiscal year, the export of finished diamonds was US $23.733 billion, up 4.17% from US $22.784 billion in 2016-17 fiscal year.
